Airports

DAI has delivered systems projects at a number of the UK's major airports.  The applications covered are baggage sortation and Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.  These systems are supported 24x7 within DAI's comprehensive support regime.

We have recently implemented a major refurbishment of the baggage SCADA systems at the Heathrow central terminals and at T4, replacing a number of separate systems with a single integrated information system, covering all baggage operations area-by-area.  The project was a refurbishment of legacy systems, and obviously had to be set live with minimal operational impact.  This was achieved via a combination of extensive off-plant testing complemented by air-side commissioning within small outage windows.
